Working with a photographer is a close and collaborative experience. Whether that’s planning your next headshots or having them as a third wheel at your wedding, it’s best to choose someone you can vibe with.
Behind the Lens
Hi, I’m Jade, your friendly neighbourhood photographer.
I have always been obsessed with taking photos. From watching my grumps with his big fancy Canon, to my first camera phone and then onto taking A-Level photography. It’s been a lifelong fascination with how photography can capture a moment and freeze it forever.
I’m a wear your heart on your sleeve sort of person and believe the world would be a boring place if we were all the same or let fear of being different hold us back. I love feeling the emotion of a wedding day and bringing out the individuality of everyone who I have the pleasure to photograph.
This is why working with me is like working with a friend.
Lil’ Facts About Me…
I Live in Milton Keynes with my Husband James and our Border Terrier Ruby Tuesday (named after the Rolling Stones song).
My happy place is Cornwall; I love being by the sea, the fresh air, walks across the beach, cold cider with a bowl of chips and a crab sandwich - absolutely perfect!
In my spare time I love attending live music, from big gigs and festivals to photographing smaller gigs at my local music venues.
I Love a quiz even if I’m not great at them.
I don’t trust people who think food is fuel; I can’t pick my favourite meal, some days it’s pizza, others it’s tapas, and I never say no to a curry.
Fun Fact- I got engaged at Glastonbury 2019 and was a 2022 bride, so I’ve been through the wedding planning process recently.
I’m an unapologetic nerd. I’ve never really been embarrassed about liking stuff and particularly in the last few years I’ve been embracing my inner weirdo!
I have two siblings, Zoe who’s 22 and Alex who’s 9. They both utterly rock!
I hate super posed, over polished photos; For me I want to capture photos that feel like you, not some plastic version of you.
A Song that always gets more on the dance floor is Mr Brightside (I know it’s a cliché and I don’t care)
