David and Kelly’s cosy Welsh wedding

Alternative wedding couple in woodland setting. Bride is in a Lace boho fitted dress with a simple white and green wedding bouquet.

In June, David and Kelly got married and hosted a music filled, food focused weekend long celebration with their closest friends and family.

The Venue.

Wedding party outside Glansevin Mansion in Wales. Exclusive hire venue perfect for weekend long weddings

When searching for a wedding venue the couple wanted to find somewhere that would suit their needs as well as being large enough to house their favourite people, which lead them to Glansevin Mansion. This Georgian building is a self-catering property which allows you to celebrate your way. It has a cosy dining hall and the front lawn was the perfect place to hold the wedding ceremony.

After a very chilled out morning the ceremony took place outside and the weather couldn’t have been better!

My Favourite bit of the ceremony was the fact David and Kelly walked each other down the aisle.

The Food…

Now there’s one thing you need to know about David and Kelly, it’s that their both foodies!

Their wedding didn’t disappoint when it came to good food and plenty of it!

For the day they hired Private Chef Christos who came and cooked up a delicious three course menu including canapés.

The Cake!

And, as if the food couldn’t get better, David and Kelly’s cake was not only incredibly cool, capturing their love of Star Wars, but it tasted amazing, with most of the guests sitting down together the day after to discus which of the three flavours was their favourite (lemon for me)
